Lucille Bruce
Red River Métis leader with 30+ years creating culturally-grounded housing and services for Winnipeg's most vulnerable. Founding CEO of End Homelessness Winnipeg and architect of transformative Indigenous-led programs.
Dr. Sandra Sukhan
Guyanese-Canadian leader bringing 50+ years of volunteer service, education expertise, and intersectional advocacy to advance senior equity in Manitoba.
Terri Hammerback
Terri brings 40+ years of government and not-for-profit experience advocating for marginalized groups. Now, she fights for Indigenous, racialized, and low-income seniors’ rights as part of MSEAC’s equity mission.
Tom Simms
Tom has worked in the social justice field for the past 40 years in the areas of community organizing, research and policy advocacy.
Kathy Mallet
Retired executive director with 40+ years advancing equity for Indigenous communities. Author of Minosin Kikiwa "A Good Home", groundbreaking research on Indigenous older adults in Winnipeg. Recipient of the Order of Manitoba (2011) and YMCA Woman of the Year (1985).
Dr. Laura Funk
Social gerontologist at the University of Manitoba studying seniors' housing and care systems. Brings personal insight from her grandmother's experiences in Winnipeg social housing and long-term care. Focused on improving care for older adults through research and policy.

After surviving 29 months of homelessness, Al now trains all levels of government and healthcare systems to better understand marginalized communities.
Suni Matthews
A retired inner-city school principal, Suni Matthews chairs the Newcomer Education Coalition and serves on MSEAC’s board. For 40+ years, she’s championed anti-racist education, community development, and poverty reduction in Winnipeg.
